On the Road and In Our Fleet Garages

Distribution

At Frito-Lay, we take pride in delivering products to our customers at the right time. Whether it’s on the road or in our garages, our 23,000 CDL Drivers and Fleet Technicians play a critical role in transporting our products.

Regional Class-A Truck Driver

Our Regional Class-A Truck Drivers safely operate a tractor/trailer (usually an automatic Volvo, international or freight liner, diesel/natural gas) and transports chips, dips, and more to and from large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers. We do run routes 24/7 and DOT hours vary slightly by location.

Fleet Technician

Fleet technicians are essential to our team because they work on our fleet vehicles and keep our drivers safe. In this role, you will help us maintain and repair our vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, manage parts inventory, and charge parts and labor to work orders. Some of our fleet technician roles do require a CDL driver’s license and will be labeled in their posting title.

Delivery Specialist

Are you interested in driving for us but don’t possess a CDL? Our delivery specialists (also known as local drivers) drive a box truck to deliver our products from our facilities to our stores. In addition to delivery, you will be responsible for inspecting your box truck prior to your runs and will load and unload our product on carts. Most local runs have no layovers.
